Make sure the trigger pin is pushed in enough and the spring has good outward tension (bend it up like others have said). If that doesn’t work, get a Vickers tactical slide release. That is a guaranteed fix for shitty slide release levers that come in frame parts kits.

The standard P80 trigger (as also with the factory Glock) is ok but not great. The P80 trigger housing is different from the OEM trigger housing. Rocky brass is always $110 shipped for the frame. (Currently out of the 19 frame, but re-stocks regularly) Slide parts kits can regularly be found for $85. A cheap barrel is $60. Hardest part is finding a cheaper slide.
